The Paramount Unified School District identifies students who demonstrate the potential for performing above grade level academically and/or evidence the capacity for critical and higher-level thinking or creative abilities. Facilitated by the office of K-5 School Support & Innovative Programs.
CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION CLICK HERE
The Paramount Unified School District Strategic Plan emphasized that all graduates be prepared for success in both the college and career of their choice. Students will possess the knowledge, skills, and certifications necessary to be successful in any post-secondary environment.
The Career Technical Education program is an essential component of this goal.

The Paramount Unified School District MATEMATICS, ENGINEERING, SCIENCE ACHIEVEMENT (MESA) provides a pathway for students interested in Engineering an Science, to practice and develop their interests. In addition to weekly on-campus events, students in the MESA program spend up to 30 hours on college campuses working with College students and professors.

TRANSITIONAL KINDER CLICK HERE
TK is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience for students who are born between September and December. TK is a result of the Kindergarten Readiness Act which was signed into law in 2010 and changes the kindergarten entry date from December 2 to September 1, so children enter kindergarten at the age of 5.
