The Paramount Unified School District 1:1 Chromebook initiative provides an essential conduit for facilitating a successful distance learning program.
The information and links provided here will help to ensure a healthy student device and provide resources for repairing damages.
 
 
 
COMPUTER OR CHROMEBOOK DEVICE SUPPORT
The Paramount Unified Technology office in collaboration with the office of Instructional Technology has provided a location at the District office where families can seek assistance with damaged or broken devices.
 
SERVICE HOURS:
 
Regular school days: 7:30 am to 8:30 am, and in the afternoon 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Non-school days: (Christmas break, Easter break, summer, etc.) Check for updates on the web site, or call for appointment 562.808.2000

HOME INTERNET
The Federal Communications Commission started a temporary program to help eligible families pay for Home Internet service during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) includes up to $50 a month discount on Internet service. La Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones (FCC, por sus siglas en inglés) ofrece un programa temporal para ayudar a las familias elegibles a pagar por el servicio de Internet en el hogar durante la pandemia del COVID-19. Acerca del Beneficio De Emergencia Para Internet (EBB, por sus siglas en inglés) incluye hasta $50 por mes en servicio de Internet Hogareña.

Our Paramount Unified School District's 1-1 Chromebook initiative started at the end of the 2016-2017 school year when we deployed Chromebooks to 9th graders at PHS West.  Over the following three years, we plan to deploy Chromebooks to all students in grades 3-12.
