District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

In Paramount Unified School District (PUSD), parents have the opportunity to participate in decision-making at both the school site and District level. Parent committees at the schools including School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC), meet regularly to discuss issues related to their students' education. The ELAC representatives collectively form the District English Learner Advisory Council (DELAC). The DELAC members review the assessment data and English Language Development (ELD) programs for English learner students.

 

Please speak to your school administration for information on parent committees, meeting schedules and possibly serving as your school's representative.  Your participation is always welcome and encouraged.

 

Come join the District English Language Advisory Committee on Monday, November 18th from 9:00am-11:00am. The meeting will be held at the Paramount Adult School. All are welcome to join and learn about Paramount Unified School District's English Learner programs!! Come join for food, fun, learning, and a raffle!!
