Paramount Unified School District Board of Education Votes to Physically Reunify Paramount High School Campuses in 27-28

Paramount, CA — At the September 10 Board meeting, the Paramount Unified School District Board of Education voted to physically reunify the Paramount Senior and the Paramount West into one campus, beginning in the 2027–2028 school year.

This decision reflects the Board’s commitment to providing students with the best possible educational opportunities while strengthening the sense of unity and pride within the Paramount High School community. By bringing all students together on one campus, the District will create a more cohesive high school experience that supports learning, extracurricular involvement, and school spirit.

As planning begins, the District is committed to keeping families, students, staff, and community members informed and engaged throughout the process. Opportunities to participate in community feedback forums and stay updated on the reunification timeline will be shared in the coming months.

Board President Alicia Anderson shared, “This reunification is an important milestone for our District, bringing new opportunities to all students in the future. We are excited to work alongside our community to make sure the transition reflects the needs and hopes of our students, families and staff.”

More information will be announced soon and will be posted on the Paramount Unified School District website.
