Paramount Middle Schools Celebrate Back-to-School Night with Record Family Participation

Paramount Unified School District’s middle schools—Alondra, Jackson, Zamboni, and Paramount Park—welcomed families on September 4 for the annual Back-to-School Night tradition. This year’s events drew the strongest turnout yet, reflecting the dedication of our families and staff to building strong school-to-home connections.

The evening began with informational sessions where families learned about academic programs, enrichment opportunities, and the comprehensive supports available to every student. Parents had the chance to meet teachers, counselors, and support staff, strengthening the partnerships that make our middle schools a nurturing and inspiring place to learn.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our principals, office teams, classroom teachers, counselors, social workers, and support staff whose organization and planning made the night a success. Special recognition is also due to our custodial and maintenance staff, who presented welcoming and well-prepared campuses, and to our security staff, who ensured a safe and peaceful evening for all.

Paramount Unified middle schools provide students with a wide range of opportunities in career technical education, arts, music, and dance, along with strong built-in supports that foster both academic achievement and social-emotional well-being. These experiences prepare students to enter high school equipped for college, career, and life success.

Families considering enrollment are encouraged to contact any of our middle schools to schedule a visit and discover how Paramount Unified is empowering students to thrive in today’s world while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges.
