On Wednesday, August 13, Mokler Elementary School welcomed families for its first “Coffee with the Principal” of the 2025–26 school year. Led by Principal Andrew Estrada, the gathering set a warm, collaborative tone for a year built on the theme “All Students Travel First Class”—a nod to Mokler’s proud Pilot mascot.
Parents and guardians joined in an engaging conversation that underscored Mokler’s shared priorities of student engagement, social-emotional well-being, academic growth, and stronger family partnerships. Principal Australia spotlighted the school’s start-of-year diagnostic assessments, explaining how the results will help teachers tailor instruction to each student’s strengths and growth areas. He also emphasized the importance of daily attendance as a key part of the essential partnership between home and school.
Families learned about ParentSquare, Mokler’s primary communication platform, which allows two-way messaging via text, email, and voice to connect directly with teachers, the office, or the principal. The morning also included an invitation for parents to join the school’s volunteer program and contribute their time and talents to campus life.
With a strong turnout and positive energy, the event reaffirmed Mokler Elementary’s commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can soar. A heartfelt thank you to all the families who attended—your presence makes a difference! We invite you to join us at future gatherings and continue being an active part of the Mokler community.
