Paramount Unified Leaders Prepare to “Live the Dash” in 2025–2026

Paramount Unified School District kicked off the new school year with Management Symposium Week, held July 21–24 at Paramount Park Middle School. The theme for the week, “Live Your Dash: Make Every Moment Matter,” encouraged school and district leaders to focus on what really counts—helping students grow, learn, and succeed every day.

Each day of the symposium was filled with learning, teamwork, and preparation for the year ahead. Leaders explored school goals, reviewed helpful tools, and discussed ways to support both students and staff. Topics included student attendance, communication, safety, teaching practices, and creating strong school cultures.

There were also sessions focused on how to make schools more welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for all. Leaders shared ideas, built stronger connections with one another, and learned new ways to help students grow both academically and emotionally.

To keep things fun and team-focused, spirit days like Country vs. Country Club, Marvel vs. DC, and Sports Day brought lots of energy. Shared meals gave everyone a chance to connect, reflect, and recharge together.

Everything during the symposium tied back to Paramount Unified’s mission—to help every student reach their full potential in a caring and supportive environment. The district also continues to follow its vision of creating schools that are inclusive, safe, and full of opportunities for all.

By the end of the week, leaders were better prepared to guide their schools and help students have a strong, successful year. With clear goals and a shared purpose, Paramount Unified is ready to make every moment count from start to finish!
