Tanner Elementary was recently featured by our partner, Think Together afterschool and expanded learning program! Through this partnership, Tanner’s students dive into engineering with hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and creativity. Using tools from LEGO engineering, students design and build high-interest amusement park rides—learning to think like engineers! 🏗️🎡
Students not only tackle the challenges of engineering but also thrive in a collaborative environment where they work together to solve problems. As one student, Steven, shared in the Think Together feature: “We learned how engineers work, and they don’t give up until they get it. It was hard connecting the engine to the Legos, but we figured it out by listening to the steps. My favorite part about the activity is seeing it move!”
