As part of our ongoing mission to meet the evolving and diverse needs of all students, Paramount Unified School District continues to create opportunities to honor and celebrate the unique qualities of the cultures that make up our community. On Friday, September 20th, the Paramount community came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage in an inspiring event.
Hosted by the Paramount Unified School District, the Hispanic Family Heritage Day was a resounding success, drawing an incredible turnout from students, families, and staff. Attendees enjoyed an evening filled with activities that highlighted the richness of Hispanic culture. Visitors participated in games, watched inspiring student speeches, and were treated to remarkable performances by choir groups ranging from kindergarten to high school, and an exceptional performance by the Hollydale School Mariachi band.
In addition to the lively performances and presentations, food stands featuring delicious ethnic cuisine adding to the festive atmosphere inviting everyone to experience a taste of authentic Hispanic flavors.
The event was a fitting celebration of Paramount’s rich and diverse community, a true reflection of the District’s dedication to embracing and honoring the cultures that shape our schools. The Hispanic Family Heritage Day was not only a commemoration of Hispanic heritage but also a testament to the unity and pride that define Paramount.
