NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON INTENTION OF PARAMOUNT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT TO CONSIDER ENTERING INTO AN ENERGY CONSERVATION SERVICES CONTRACT WITH WILLDAN ENGINEERS AND CONSTRUCTORS, DBA WILLDAN CONSTRUCTORS, PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 4217.10, ET SEQ.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the Governing Board of the Paramount Unified School District (“District”), pursuant to the terms of Government Code section 4217.12, to consider entering into an energy conservation services contract with Willdan Engineers and Constructors, dba Willdan Constructors, (“Willdan”), in the form of a contract for the design and construction of photovoltaic systems and electric vehicle charging stations at various District sites (“Contract”).
The Board will consider facts and testimony to determine whether the Contract is in the best interests of the District and whether the anticipated cost of the thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed under the Contract will be less than the anticipated cost of the thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed without the Contract.
The time and place set for the public hearing on the intention of the Governing Board of the District to consider entering into the Contract is July 24, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, at the Boardroom of the District Office, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, CA 90723.
Testimony of all interested persons for or against the proposed Contract will be heard. Protests may be made orally or in writing. Any protest pertaining to the regularity or sufficiency of the proceedings shall be in writing and shall clearly set forth the irregularities and defects to which the objection is made. All written protests shall be filed with the District on or before the time set for the hearing. The District may waive any irregularities in the form or content of any written notice and at the hearing may correct minor defects in the proceedings. Written protests may be withdrawn, in writing, at any time before the conclusion of the hearing.

SOBRE LA INTENCIÓN DEL DISTRITO ESCOLAR UNIFICADO DE PARAMOUNT PARA CONSIDERAR ENTRAR EN UN CONTRATO DE SERVICIOS DE CONSERVACIÓN DE ENERGÍA CON INGENIEROS Y CONSTRUCTORES WILLDAN, DBA CONSTRUCTORES EN CONFORMIDAD CON EL CÓDIGO DE GOBIERNO SECCIÓN 4217.10, ET SEQ.
POR EL PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA la intención de la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Paramount (“Distrito”), de conformidad con los términos de la sección 4217.12 del Código del Gobierno, de considerar entrar en un contrato de servicios de conservación de energía con Willdan Constructors (“Willdan” ), en forma de contrato para el diseño y construcción de sistemas fotovoltaicos y estaciones de carga de vehículos eléctricos en varios sitios del Distrito (“Contrato”).
La Junta considerará hechos y testimonios para determinar si el Contrato es lo mejor para el Distrito y si el costo anticipado de la energía térmica, eléctrica u otra energía que se habría consumido según el Contrato será menor que el costo anticipado de la energía térmica, eléctrica o de otro tipo que se habría consumido sin el Contrato.
La hora y el lugar fijados para la audiencia pública sobre la intención de la junta de la mesa directiva del Distrito sobre considerar entrar en el Contrato es el 24 de julio del 2024, a las 6:30 p. m., o tan pronto como sea posible, en la sala de juntas del Distrito. Oficina, 15110 California Avenue, Paramount, CA 90723.
Se escuchará el testimonio de todas las personas interesadas a favor o en contra del Contrato propuesto. Las protestas podrán formularse oralmente o por escrito. Cualquier protesta relativa a la regularidad o suficiencia del procedimiento deberá constar por escrito y expresará claramente las irregularidades y defectos a los cual se opone. Todas las protestas por escrito deberán presentarse ante el Distrito en o antes de la hora fijada para la audiencia. El Distrito puede renunciar a cualquier irregularidad en la forma o contenido de cualquier notificación escrita y en la audiencia puede corregir defectos menores en los procedimientos. Las protestas escritas podrán retirarse, por escrito, en cualquier momento antes de que termine la audiencia.
