What is the Independent Study Program?
Independent Study is an alternative instructional model for eligible TK-12 students whose needs may be best met through study outside of the traditional, in-person, classroom setting. The program is designed for students who can manage their work at home independently and who have a family member/caregiver who can assist in accessing learning.
Is Independent Study the same as Distance Learning, which was offered last year?
Independent Study is not the same format as Distance Learning. Most of the students’ work will be done independently.
A virtual informational meeting for parents will be held via Zoom.
Information regarding Independent Studies offered during the 2021-22 School Year will be provided during this meeting
