PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

CREDIT RECOVERY

The Credit Recovery program at Buena Vista High School offers students an effective opportunity to improve their GPA (grade-point-average) and restore their ability to graduate on-time and to, more importantly, gain entrance to their college of choice. Students qualify to enroll in courses in the Credit Recovery sessions if they show an “NC” (No Credit) or "F" on their student transcripts and report cards.  The nature of the course content gives students the flexibility to accelerate or extend their learning based on their own needs.  In other words, students who want to speed completion of their studies could, potentially finish a course in as little as one (1) week or as many as six (6).

Course Location: Buena Vista

Course Content: Edgenuity

How to Enroll: All Buena Vista students are encouraged to participate in this innovative and flexible learning opportunity! Students are sent an invitation based on student’s performance indicated by the score of "NC" that additional help is needed in order to gain proficiency in core subjects including Math, Language Arts & Science.
