Fresno Realty regular day for us in the culinary Hospitality pathway some days were in lecture we're learning about different ingredients in death different compositions some days we are in cycle lab which would most into call the cooking so depending on what type of day it is will depend on what we're doing on a typical cooking day head to their kitchen I'll give him a quick Florida 5 minute introduction to what we're doing answer any questions things like that and then for the most part they have the rest of the period to complete their assigned recipe and of course I'm walking around helping them out even them tips and guidelines things like that okay so I want to invite the environment to be comfortable enough that the students feel confident and working and cooking in there and learning new techniques but I also want to make sure that is professional so that they know what to do then everyone who stays we're working clean all of that good stuff I want my students to leave with is definitely a confidence I want them to be confident in their ability to be able to provide for themselves be able to cook for themselves while they're in college later on in life when they have families of their own just simple tasks and peeling a potato dicing up an onion her name is not being afraid to turn on the oven things like that some of the projects that we've done our robotics projects where they use a kit of Parts convex and they build little robotic machines things like that it's fun to see them get into the other projects combat grips really get into it and really enjoyed I would definitely recommend this class has got great opportunities in terms of the stem research area I think you'd introduced a lot of Technology a lot of important stuff in your like the design process it's definitely a mistake to my favorite project was a project we did an inventor which is a computer program where we created a car basically out of the parts that we designed with our measurements and everything is called the automobile xt9 project well there's a little bit about engineering and thought about going to the engineering jobs are out there and also hope they that's a good problem solving skills and also have a little bit of fun to while they're at it ever since I was little I've enjoyed a lot of computers and stuff like that it would be a great way for me to exercise those the movie I choose engineering pathway because I want to become an engineer When I grow older so that felt like this with the pair of me for that. I think probably my career I thought that the most helpful things I could teach a student like about editing and I'm working on the computers I think now you know outside kind of evolved is a teacher I think the most helpful thing I can teach the kids it's just like work ethic you know I'm going out every single day and try accomplish goals also you know working in teams is a really big deal and you know the employer is out there in the real world now they're looking for students that are just come to work to get things done and they're able to work in team soon and they're able to accomplish every single day the city pathway has taught me to be more responsible organized and to be more of a people person and communicate with others and work on my social skills so there are a lot of tools when using here mostly Photoshop illustrator and design I've introduced the iPad which is I think it's super cool it's a different way to create images some students struggle with a pen tool with breast paint brush in Photoshop with the iPad makes it a lot easier and I think really really cool was also planning to go with that then like this because I I can express my true meaning and my true self and I think I create a business and probably like be your clothing line and I feel like I can create something big ugly but also kind of makes it more like patients it's you made it more interesting and I like to see more pictures I like to mess around with a lot of lighting and stuff like that so something about medical is that you are actually educator I swallow you educate your patients on how to do no follow diets and how to change blooms dressing using so far so educated patients and something that's very common and I have noticed that the students that do not follow within the medical field they will go into teaching as well targeted for students that want to be in the medical field so we focused highly on that by the end of their three years here will be plenty of students that will actually graduate as medical assistants and they will use that as a stepping stone while they're going to college to pay for it and also to get an idea whether or not this is a field that they want to be and or if they would want to maybe switch and do some we have some Sid mannequins color polos and those are all mannequins that we used in the classroom are run by a white face and so far as soon as they're able to go ahead and do Patient Care on these mannequins the mannequins able to go ahead and flat night we have a PKG machines we also use different types of other cousin that we are able to go ahead and you started four years I learned how to document information into computers I learned Hands-On skills I learned how to communicate to other for years I learned. Medical pathway is based off of teamwork and not just individuals that is very important to work well with your teammates because going and hope to eventually say blacks so the class consists of an entire school year where students learn how to develop a business plan still from bring up the idea to actually doing their market research making sure that they know what's customers are targeting their whole marketing and advertising plan learning how to say about their finances how much is it going to cost for them to start their business how much money they're expecting to make and then at the end of the school year they get to present in the final Shark Tank of that we're business partners from the community come and watch the students present their business ideas find the fast being rude to only flight turnstile company and be able to build and experience how a company is run and how it is how to manage patient is the key sometimes we may not agree on everything the great idea that will benefit only inside you drink drink where is basically every stage of Business Development so improved that you they come see project related to customer research marketing they get to decide what type of marketing or advertising tactics would work best for their business idea so overall it's it's just weekly projects that later on at the end of the week princess that's a lot of public speaking opportunities to feel confident a lot of Technology use so all all assignments are done online some teamwork collaboration skills to stop on by ask me any questions and you know learn how to make
