PUSD offers the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program every day after school and on at least 30 non-school or intersession days.
ELO-P activities during school days are held at each elementary and middle school from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
Intersession programs may include winter and spring break day camps and other activities on non-school days such as weekends or holidays.
For both after school and intersession programs, ELO-P academic and enrichment courses may include:
- Homework assistance
- Science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM)
- Visual and performing arts (VAPA)
- Health and fitness
- High school and college readiness
- Leadership
