COURSE MASTERY

The “mastery-based“ system of grading that’s implemented at Odyssey STEM Academy results in a very different approach to summer school. Unlike a traditional school program where students retake an entire course in which they received unsatisfactory marks, students at Odyssey are expected to continue their studies in the areas where they are deficient until they reach mastery. In this system, students then, would continue studying into the summer only for the time it takes them to master the individual continent they struggled with in the Spring.

Course Location: Students will attend class both in-person and online-asynchronous. Schedules are being constructed following the CDC guidelines and utilize an alternating schedule. Students can contact their Advisor or reach out to the school office for additional information and scheduling.
